Infusing the volunteer spirit into the community throughout the year, JVC coordinates four events which coincide with local, statewide and national days of service: Governor’s Day to Serve in September, Mitzvah Day on December 25th, MLK Day of Service in January and Good Deeds Day in April.
This year, due to the ongoing global pandemic, our annual days of service will look different. JVC will continue to respond to the needs of our service partners as well as offer innovative ways for people to volunteer. These days of service will follow health and safety guidelines and offer multiple volunteer opportunities to meet varying levels of comfort for volunteers whether it’s serving from home or out in the community.
