Absolutely. It allows me to be involved and contribute in a meaningful way while meeting some wonderful people.
What advice would you give to other volunteers? What would you tell someone who may be nervous to commit or is new to volunteering?
It can be intimidating to join in with a large project and there are many options. You can be a part of larger and more social activities, or activities in a small group, or even just by yourself. Think about something that you enjoy doing and find a project to incorporate that interest.

What is your favorite time of day?
I have a bad habit of staying up late to get things done when it’s quiet.
