Season of Service

JVC’s Season of Service is a month-long event offering both in-person and at-home volunteering throughout the community. Season of Service presents opportunities for every age, interest, and ability. Plans for the next Season of Service, in Fall 2021, will be updated on this webpage. Stay tuned.

Thank you to everyone who participated and made the Season of Service 2020 (September 13-October 15) a great success!

Here is what our volunteers said about Season of Service 2020:

  • “My husband and I assembled 20 soup kits. It means so much to us, to be able to help in some way.”
  • “Whenever I walk to shul along Park Heights Avenue I see trash on the side of the road. This was a good opportunity to clean it up and get service hours credit for school.”
  • “Bunches of Lunches is a great program and easy to participate in.”

JVC, a proud agency of the Associated: Jewish Federation of Baltimore, depends on the funding it receives from The Associated’s Annual Campaign. Now, more than ever in its 100 year history, our Associated network needs your support. Together we are addressing the urgent and critical needs of those most affected by the current coronavirus pandemic while ensuring the health and vitality of our community members through social services and connections to meaningful Jewish experiences.
