The January Service to Go project was Kindness Kits – a package of items frequently requested by individuals experiencing homelessness. Individuals who participated in JVC’s annual Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service and Learning engaged in making these Kindness Kits and learning about issues related to the items that go inside them. Expert facilitators from Pearlstone, Baltimore Hunger Project, Maree G. Farring Elementary/Middle School, and the Macks Center for Jewish Connections led these learning sessions in person and via video recording. We encourage you to utilize this educational video as a guide while making Kindness Kits within your own homes and communities.
