March Madness brings a sense of spirit, camaraderie and a bit of competition. JVC believes that combining that energy with the desire to give back results in March Madness With Purpose. March Madness Service Projects:
- Make a no-sew fleece blanket for a person experiencing homelessness and provide a source of comfort and warmth during a time of transition and unfortunate circumstances.
- Make some extra food to donate to a local shelter. Feel free to use these Sample Menus for Meal Service as a resource and contact JVC to tell you the shelters accepting donations and drop off times.
- Create bookmarks and/or collect books for Millbrook Elementary School’s Bookworms book fair!
- Knit or crochet a scarf or hat to be donated to the vulnerable on JVC’s Mitzvah Day. Details here
