Walking Group Volunteer at Helping Up Mission

Helping Up Mission is a 24/7 shelter in the Jonestown neighborhood of Baltimore City for men, women, and children experiencing addiction, homelessness, or poverty.

Volunteers are need for the “Back on my Feet” program at Helping Up Mission, which provides a walking group for clients at the Center for Women & Children. Volunteers are needed to lead a walking group and provide support to clients.

Commitment: Thursday mornings (7:45-8:45am)

Location: Baltimore City/Downtown (Jonestown neighborhood)

Restrictions: Volunteers must be at least 18 years old, identify as female, and complete a background check ($19). Volunteer orientation required.  Volunteers should dress in athletic clothing that covers shoulders and knees. Maximum of 1 volunteer needed.
