Individual and group volunteers are needed at Art with a Heart to help with ongoing visual arts classes, working on public art or community projects, and helping create and finish pieces of art for HeARTwares, Art with a Heart’s social enterprise/retail store. Tasks include painting, ceramics, cleaning, organizing, sorting, coloring, cutting, mosaic work, and grouting.
Please note that opportunities over the summer are limited, but more opportunities will be available in the fall.

Location: Baltimore City/Downtown (Hampden neighborhood)
Commitment: may be one-time or recurring; 30 minute volunteer orientation is needed before selecting the day/time when you would like to volunteer. Volunteers must also fill out Art with a Heart’s volunteer application.
Restrictions: For groups, minimum number of people is 6 and maximum is 20. Volunteers as young as 5 are allowed with parent/guardian; volunteers as young as 12 are allowed without a parent/guardian. Most activities involve sitting, and may include repetitive motion or the use of handheld tools.
Please note that while most opportunities occur during the day, volunteers are sometimes needed at night, on weekends, or for remote volunteer work.
