Meals on Wheels enables people to live independently at home through the provision of nutritious meals, personal contact and related services.  We deliver meals Monday through Friday beginning at 11am; routes consist of about 8-10 stops and take about an hour to an hour and a half to complete.  We would love to have you join your local team of volunteers in Baltimore City, Towson, Essex, Dundalk, and Columbia.

Commitment: Flexible dates based on organization’s need and volunteer’s availability.
Location: 20 distribution sites in Central Maryland
Restrictions: Volunteers must complete a registration, attend an orientation, and pass a background check (Cannot accept volunteers who need court ordered hours.) Volunteers under 18 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian. Volunteers drive their own vehicle to deliver meals.
