Power Project After School Program at St. Francis Neighborhood Center

Power Project After School Volunteer needed at the St. Francis Neighborhood Center (SFNC).  St. Francis Neighborhood Center has existed since 1963 to raise awareness and bring change to the lives of those they serve in the community of Reservoir Hill in Baltimore City. SFNC is the oldest youth enrichment center in the City!

Power Project volunteers work with teachers and staff to ensure a safe and productive learning space. Volunteers will help with setting up classrooms, serving snack, and encouraging students to engage with the program.

Volunteer will be required to promote communication and conflict resolution to teach emotional intelligence. Volunteer is welcome but not required to help with clean up.

Commitment: Volunteers are asked to commit a minimum of 2.5 hours per week during regular program hours; Monday-Thursday 3:30-6:00pm

Restrictions: Volunteers must be at least 16 years old. *Background checks are required of volunteers
