Beans and Bread offers services for individuals and families in Baltimore City experiencing homelessness.
Beans and Bread is looking for kitchen assistants to help distribute pre-packaged breakfasts and lunches. Volunteer tasks include cleaning up after meals, putting food in walk-in fridge, preparing snack bags, organize kitchen/pantry, bringing in donations, etc.
Volunteers are needed from 8:15 – 10:00am Mondays-Fridays for breakfast.
Volunteers are needed from 10:30 am – 2:00 pm Mondays-Fridays for lunch.
Commitment: One time or ongoing; varies based on organization’s need and volunteer’s availability
Location: Baltimore City/Downtown (Fells Point neighborhood).
Restrictions: Volunteers must be 13 years old. Volunteers 13-15 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Volunteers must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and wear a mask indoors.
