Marian House provides housing and rehabilitative support to homeless women & children in Baltimore City.
Starting in July 2023, volunteers are needed to help with small administrative tasks such sorting mail, processing incoming office supplies, some answering the door/phone as needed, unlocking of rooms for meetings, etc. You would be interacting with Marian House staff, community members and program participants.
Commitment: one-time or ongoing; varies based on volunteer’s availability. A minimum commitment 1 morning (3 hour commitment, starting at 9am) is required. Maximum shift would last 5 hours.
Location: Baltimore City/Downtown (Waverly-Coldstream neighborhood)
Restrictions: Training is required and provided by Marian House. Background check (covered by Marian House) and volunteer application required. Past experience in an office is preferred, but not required. Volunteers must be at least 18 years old.
