U.S. Dream Academy is looking for mentors!
Perhaps the most significant way you can contribute to the U.S. Dream Academy is to mentor a DreamKid. Their DreamKids face tremendous obstacles in their lives including living in communities harmed by systemic inequities, and often the incarceration of a parent or close family member. A committed, caring adult can make all the difference, helping a child feel empowered and realize their dreams. That individual must be available, willing to listen, and willing to share. That individual can be you!
Commitment: Volunteers are asked to commit for a year, minimum of once a week for one hour between the hours of 3-6pm, Monday-Friday.
Location: Virtual and In-Person at Pimlico Elementary/Middle School
Restrictions: Volunteers must be at least 18 years old, and agree to the following; application, interview, reference check, background check, and training.
