Volunteers needed to sponsor a family residing at My Sister’s Place Women’s Center this holiday season! My Sister’s Place Women’s Center is a day resource center for women and children in Baltimore City.

Volunteers are needed to sponsor families and individuals for either Thanksgiving, Christmas, or both holidays! For Thanksgiving, volunteers can sign up to donate a basket of Thanksgiving food (turkey, stuffing, cranberry sauce, green beans, mashed potato mix, etc.)- exact list to be provided upon sign up.

For Christmas, volunteers will gift a family/individual a present from their wish list.

Commitment: Flexible throughout November and December; items can be dropped off at My Sister’s Place Women’s Center
Location: Downtown Baltimore/Baltimore City (Mount Vernon neighborhood); other (varies by volunteer’s location)
Restrictions: All ages welcome! Volunteers are expected to spend $30 (1 present) per person. Maximum of 40 Thanksgiving baskets needed.
