Group Activity Lead at The Baltimore Station

The Baltimore Station is an innovative therapeutic residential treatment program supporting veterans and others who are transitioning through the cycle of poverty, addiction, and homelessness to self-sufficiency.

Volunteers are needed to lead activities and classes (for up to 20 men) at The Baltimore Station-either at their W. West Street (South Baltimore) or Baker Street (West Baltimore) location. Volunteers can choose location and subject matter for the class (art, dancing, music, writing, low impact exercising, jewelry making, etc).The Baltimore Station can provide materials depending on the subject.

Commitment: 1 hour/ week during week and/or weekends (could be more/ less depending on volunteer’s schedule). Classes may end as late at 7:30pm.

Location: Downtown Baltimore/Baltimore City (South Baltimore or West Baltimore neighborhoods).

Restrictions: All volunteers must be fully vaccinated; masks must be worn at all times. Volunteers must be at least 17 years old.
