Front Desk Volunteers needed for local Head Start locations!

St. Vincent de Paul of Baltimore manages multiple Head Start locations in Baltimore. Head Start provides quality comprehensive services to income eligible preschool children to enhance their readiness for school, family involvement in education, self-sufficiency, and parent education is also emphasized.

Front Desk volunteers are needed to answer the phone, greet and direct visitors, and assist staff with administrative tasks. Volunteer shifts are Monday through Friday for 5 locations. The first shift will be 8am-12pm; the second shift will be 12pm-4pm.

Locations are:

Pimlico: 5001 Park Heights Avenue, Baltimore MD 21215

Arlington: 3705 W. Rogers Avenue, Baltimore MD 21215

Arts Center: 4330 Pimlico Road, Baltimore MD 21215

Fatima: 6400 E. Pratt Street, Baltimore MD 21224

Patterson: 242 S. Patterson Park Avenue, Baltimore MD 21231

Commitment: Volunteers are needed for 4 hour shifts.

Location: See above for the list of locations.

Restrictions: Must be at least 18 years of age

Volunteers will need to fill out an application, complete a background check, and TB test.
