The Baltimore Neighbors Network (BNN) is looking for volunteers to make calls and connections with Baltimore seniors!

The Baltimore Neighbors Network (BNN) is an alliance of community organizations and initiatives focused on a unified and immediate response to the epidemic of loneliness and isolation COVID-19 is creating for Baltimore’s most vulnerable residents.

BNN provides a virtual community of volunteers to offer hope, comfort and social solidarity.  Volunteers make calls to seniors to assess well-being, offer resources and create critical connections.  Seniors are then invited to join the Neighbors Network and provide peer to peer support.

Commitment: Volunteers are asked to have a roster of 10 active connections

Location: Virtual!

Restrictions: Volunteers should have at least an 8th grade literacy level. Volunteers also must be located in the Baltimore Metro area.

*Volunteers must submit to a background check
