Volunteers are needed to call clients of Meals on Wheels of Central Maryland to check on their safety, health and well-being and help to reduce loneliness.

Meals on Wheels enables people to live independently in their homes by providing food and other needed services.

Volunteers will be given 5-10 clients to call and we ask that you speak with them twice a week.  This is a great way to volunteer from the comfort of your home.

To volunteer for this opportunity, volunteers would need to complete a volunteer application, attend a virtual orientation and complete a background check.  Volunteers will be given guiding questions.

Commitment: Individuals and/or families can volunteer. Volunteers commit to making at least two calls per week per client.
