Community Farm Clean Up with The 6th Branch

The 6th Branch utilizes the leadership and organizational skills of military veterans to execute aggressive community service initiatives in Baltimore City.

Volunteers are needed the 1st Sunday of every month to help clean up and maintain the Oliver Community Farm. The farm, in conjunction with the Johnston Square Community Farm & Garden provides pounds of produce to East Baltimore residents.

Commitment: Events take place the 1st Sunday of every month from 3-5pm (following dates below):

  • Sunday, September 3rd
  • Sunday, October 1st (*please note: occurs during Sukkot*)
  • Sunday, November 5th

Location: Downtown Baltimore/Baltimore City (Oliver/East Baltimore neighborhood).
Restrictions: Volunteers must be fully vaccinated (and boosted) against COVID-19. All ages are welcome! Volunteers should wear close toed shoes, clothes that can get dirty, and bring a refillable water bottle to last 3 hours of work.
