Volunteers needed to help with Cat Cage Cleaning!  Volunteers will clean and set up cat cages following BHS cleaning protocols and handling procedures. Provide each cat with appropriate food and clean water.  Communicate with the staff to report any concerns (litter box accidents, signs of illness, etc). Assist staff in cleaning up the Cattery area before opening by sweeping, mopping, and returning items to the appropriate area.

Commitment: Flexibility based on organization’s need and volunteer’s availability.
Location: Baltimore Humane Society
Restrictions: Volunteer must view the cat cage cleaning video on youtube labeled ‘BHS Cat Volunteer Training 1″ before coming in for your first cattery cage cleaning shift!  Must be attentive to detail and able to follow direction closely. Must be able to stoop and bend at the waist and stand for an extended period of time
