Volunteers needed to help prepare casseroles at My Sister’s Place!  My Sister’s Place Women’s Center is a day resource center for women and children.  They support women who reside in night shelters or on the streets of Baltimore City. The daily challenge for these women is finding adequate, affordable housing, medical care and support services. My Sister’s Place provides a safe haven where women can find resources, quiet conversation and friendship that is extended with hospitality and respect.

Volunteers will help prepare casseroles for those residing in the center.

Commitment: Flexibility based on organization’s need and volunteer’s availability.  This opportunity occurs every other Wednesday afternoon  (2x/month).
Location: Downtown Baltimore/Baltimore City (Mount Vernon neighborhood)
Restrictions: Volunteers must be at least 14 years old (volunteers 14- 16 must have parent/guardian supervision). Volunteers 16 and older do not need parent/guardian supervision.  All volunteers must be fully vaccinated against COVID -19 and show proof of vaccination. Volunteers must wear masks when inside the building. Maximum of 8 volunteers allowed for this opportunity.
