Blood Donor Ambassador needed for American Red Cross!

The American Red Cross prevents and alleviates human suffering in the face of emergencies by mobilizing the power of volunteers.

Blood Donor Ambassadors provide excellent customer service to enhance the blood donor experience. Volunteers will be welcoming and greet donors, escort as necessary and assist with initial intake and hand offs. Manage donor flow for initial temperature taking station and help ensure blood donors have relevant information.

Commitment: Volunteers needed who have weekday/daytime availability, are available at least two times a month for shift of 3-6 hours and who can commit to 6-12 months.

Location: Varies but in Baltimore County/City

Restrictions: Must be at least 18 years of age. Volunteers must complete an online background check prior to volunteering (note: providing social security number is required for background check).
