Volunteers are needed to help Serve a meal for the clients of The Helping Up Mission. The Helping Up Mission is both a long-term residential recovery program and an overnight shelter for men in need. Helping Up Mission provides hope to people experiencing homelessness, poverty or addiction by meeting their physical, psychological, social and spiritual needs.
Volunteers will be assisting in a range of activities across many locations in the Broadway East community that will include overgrowth removal, minor demolition, and other projects. The 6th Branch utilizes the leadership and organizational skills of military veterans to execute aggressive community service initiatives in Baltimore City.
