Thank you for showing interest in volunteering at JVC’s Signature Site.

JVC is bringing back our signature site at the Weinberg Park Heights JCC! We’re hosting volunteer shifts with smaller groups to safely participate in our signature projects, assembling more than 2,000 Winter Care Packages, as well as multiple hands-on volunteer projects.

Volunteers of all ages are welcome at our Signature Site on December 24th. Volunteers aged 12 and older MUST show proof of vaccination and volunteers under age 12 are still welcome to attend regardless of vaccination status. All volunteers must be masked for the duration of the event.

Pre-Registration is required to participate in JVCs Mitzvah Day Signature Site. Please pre-register all family or friends accompanying you on the form below. Choose one of our volunteer shifts and register before they fill up- space is limited!

To ensure the health and security of our volunteers, staff, and the greater community, JVC is implementing the following protocols to help reduce the transmission of COVID-19.

• All participants ages 12+ must be vaccinated and show proof of vaccination and personal ID upon entry.
• If you are unable to be vaccinated and would like to participate in JVC’s Mitzvah Day Signature Site, you will be asked to provide documentation of vaccination exemption, along with a negative PCR test within 72 hours to be accepted for admission.
• Facemasks will be required for all participants ages 2 years+ and must be worn properly over the nose and mouth.

Before you arrive at JVC’s Mitzvah Day Signature Site:

• A guest is considered fully vaccinated if their last dose was administered at least 14 days before attending the event.
• Fully vaccinated volunteers must show proof of COVID-19 vaccination with a physical vaccination card or a photograph of the card, or a digital vaccination record stored on a phone or electronic device. The proof must include the name of the person vaccinated, type of vaccine and date of the last dose administered.
• Volunteers should bring a photo ID matching the name on the vaccine card. Guests younger than age 18 without ID must be accompanied by an adult with proper identification.
