2020 Season of Service- DIY Community Clean Up

September 13 – October 15
(anytime throughout JVC’s Season of Service)

During the JVC Season of Service, we are challenging the community at large to help clean up neighborhoods, parks, and streams that are in need of beautification. Get motivated on your own or put together a group of volunteers to pick up trash and other debris. Please plan to dispose of collected trash into your own trash cans at home. We recommend you wear closed toed shoes and clothes that can get dirty and don’t forget your mask.

Please register below to advise us of your volunteering plans, then let us know when you have completed the clean-up. We encourage you to send us pictures and/or a short blurb (or blog) about your experience. Submissions should be sent to jvcbaltimore@associated.org.

Recommended Supplies to Bring:

· A great attitude
· Trash Bags
· Protective/Work gloves (garden gloves will work)
· Grabbers, if you have them
· Face Masks for times when you are not physically distanced
· Hand Sanitizer
· Camera to take pictures of your group in action
