Mission
Jewish Volunteer Connection (JVC), a program of THE ASSOCIATED: Jewish Community Federation of Baltimore, creates a culture of volunteerism by providing a coordinated, centralized entry point for Baltimore Jewish community volunteers. JVC works to strengthen the Jewish community through high-quality, hands-on volunteer placements and projects, developed in partnership with agencies, congregations and other communal organizations. In its work, JVC is guided by the Jewish values of tikkun olam (repairing the world), gemilut chasadim (acts of love and kindness) and tzedakah (charity).
