Volunteer with Ronald McDonald House
Young adults in their 20s and 30s can now help with two different opportunities to bring sunshine to families and children undergoing medical treatment and staying at the Ronald McDonald House. Dinner is served from 6:00 – 7:00 p.m. Each young adult brings one dish to the house between 5:00 – 5:30 p.m. where he or she prepares it in the kitchen and visits with the residents during the meal. From 7:00 – 8:00 p.m., volunteers give parents a break by running an activities hour with crafts projects, board games or a number of other fun projects. Volunteers will be asked to sign up for each opportunity separately – you don’t need to do both. Meet new people, have a great time – all while doing a mitzvah! Pre-registration is required.
