Repair the World Turn the Tables: Promised Land – Where Are We Striving For?

January 13, 2017 @ 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm

$5

Come and join Repair the World Baltimore as we come together as a community to remember Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and his vision for a better tomorrow. We will explore what varying communities and individuals, throughout history, have meant when they invoked imagery and language of the “Promised Land”. As we work through these conceptions we will begin to form our own visions of OUR Promised Land and find concrete and actionable ways to attain that vision. We will have artwork from local artist Nether, two young scholars from the Elijah Cummings Youth Program to speak with us about their experiences in Israel, and some delicious Vegan fare. Spots are limited. Please register today!
